My battery suddenly died ,I replaced it for a new one. The car runs fine but sometimes when I take my foot off the gas it dies. Any ideas on what it could be?

Have the tps sensor checked. I dont see this being part of the battery problem yet. Does the check engine light come on??? Let me know thanks Curt
