2002 Other Jeep Models Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 77000 miles

My Jeep Grand Cherekee makes a ringing noise when I am driving. The only time it does not make the noise is when I press on the brakes. What is this noise, and how can it be fixed?

No I think the problem is the wear sensor on your brake pads, have the brakes checked!
