2002 Other Jeep Models alignment

The alignment can be performed before the new tires are installed, however, if the tires that are on the vehicle NOW have worn irregularly due to the alignment angles being wrong, the vehicle may still pull to one side or the other. The alignment machine will tell the technician where to set the angles. It doesn't care what kind of tires are on the car. The tires will not change the angles or settings but they CAN effect how the car drives. If you must have the alignment done now to lengthen the life of the tires, at least rotate them and then do the alignment. Put the tires that are on the front on the rear and vice versa. This will give you 'somewhat' of a new start with the new settings on the front end. Then, when you can afford it, replace the tires. Also, you might consider replacing just 2 of the tires (front) now and the other 2 later. Replace the 2 worst tires but make sure the new ones go on the front.
