I am replacing the brake pads on my grand cherokee. The front went just fine, but I am having trouble doing the rear ones. I can't seem to get the rear wheels off! Is there something I am missing to do? I removed the lug nuts as I did in the front, but the rear tire just won't come off. What do I do?

Is it the wheels or is it your drums if the wheels sit on the ground kick the tire on one side then the other should brake free if it is the drums you have to back off the brake shoe adj on the back of the wheel plate there is a small oblonged hole shuld have a rubber plug in it inset a brake spoon or small screw driver and back off shoes by turning the little wheel inside put spoon on the teeth with the handle raised toward the bottom of the truck and pull down keep backing them up till the drum releases.
