1996 Other Jeep Models change

hi i have a 4.ltre grand cherokee with dana35 rear axle if i change this to a axle from a 5.2litre v8 which is also a dana 35 what sort of problem would i have if the ratio was different there both 1996 model and may be the same ratio i,m not shore please help thanks jim

Hi there,

you can't run different ratio's front and rear diffs, in 4X4 you will bind up and damage the transfer.
