1995 Other Jeep Models water flow

I just replaced the water pump on my 95 grand cherokee laredo. and the water is not flowing. I don't know what to do now

If you are not letting the engine warm up enough for the thermostat to open, the water will look like it's not moving. Give it a chance. Let it run a while,it will overflow some if you filled it right to the top, but the level should go down when the t-stat opens. If that does not happen, replace the t-stat. Good luck. mickey-d
