1995 Other Jeep Models conversion

my 95 grand cherokee is all-wheel and my question is can i convert it to 4 wheel drive just by swaping in a 4 wheel drive transfer case or will it take a lot more then that? i also have a 97 cherokee 4x4 as a doner. thank you.

I have done this a long time ago and the headache was not worth it. You are better off buying a vehicle that already has that option. You have to change wiring harnesses, computer and other things to make it work right.
