1988 Other Jeep Models brake and turn signals

1988 Other Jeep Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 268k miles

I have a 1988 Jeep comanche, After replacing the bulbs all around I still do not have turn signals or brake lights. I recently bought this truck and the best I can figure is that it sat for a couple years.runs great but alot of the bulbs were burned out. The emergency flashers do not work on the outside but indicate that they are working on the inside. Any Ideas?

do the turn signal indicators work inside just not outside?

when the brakes are put on does the third brake light work, or that inoperate too?
