i want to install a points type dist. in this vehicle. where do i go for the parts? thanks

Is it fuel injected? If yes, the PCM controls fuel flow, and bypassing the distributor signal will case a lack of fuel control.

You can do whatever you want but, why in the world would you want to? It would screw up your entire computer system. To answer your question, at a salvage yard or maybe through the aftermarket. I don't know if you would be able to even find one anymore.
