2006 Jeep Liberty 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 56k miles

the vehicle won't start it doesn't even try to turn over. we do have lights and radio. Is the problem in the starter or is it in the theft system even though no theft system lights come on?

Is there an anti theft light flashing when turning the key? Have you had the battery or starter tested?
