Check engine light on

my wife liberty has a reading in tiny letters that reads type 43 will a scan from the obd port give me any codes with this light on? The check engine light was on for about a day then went off and hasn't came on since. Does anyone know of this happening any input at all would be greatly appreciated, as I am not all that up on the computer jive, but do try to help on stuff in here periodically. Thank again owen

Type 43 code is an instrument cluster code. However, this should have some regular B or C codes to go along with it but we need to scan the vehicle using a scanner that can read these codes. Here is a guide that will help with this:

There are a number of things that could cause these types of codes so we need to scan it and find out what is there. Please let us know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
