2005 Jeep Liberty 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my accelerator makes a noise when I am accelerating but the noise stops when I take my foot off the accelerator. what is this? Thank you.

Are you refering to the gas pedal? What type of noise do you hear?
