2004 Jeep Liberty my lights wont turn off

I dont no how to get the lites inside my car to turn off. They stay on when i am driving and when the car is off. I made sure all the doors were close and they still stay on. any idea why and how to turn off

First ensure the dimmer switch for the instrument panel / dome lamps is turned off. Is the "Door Ajar" lamp illuminated in your vehicle when driving as well? If so, try lubricating each door latch as well as rear hatch with WD-40. There is a door ajar switch in each latch, if it sticks it will not allow interior lamps to turn off.
