Oil pressure light came on while driving down interstate...pulled over asap and shut off engine. Checked oil and it was full....somewhat dirty. When we restarted the engine it started to make a screech like a belt and then a faint rattling noise like a really loud fan.. or something. We shut the car of once more and let it set for a few moments then tried to start and it would not almost like it had locke up. We had the car towed home and put in the garage. The next morning we went out and it started just fine...the screeching belt noise was gone but the rattle is still there.. We changed the oil and filter...come to find out the filter that had been put on by lube shop was the wrong size...the oil light doesn't come on but it still rattles?

Probably going to need to have a shop look at it, could have damaged the bearings or something simpler like the timing chain and tensioner. Regardless I wouldnt drive it so as not to cause further damage
