2005 Jeep Laredo Water Pump

Our '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo had to have a new water pump in March of 2008, and now it is leaking again and needs to be replaced again. Is there something that we are doing wrong that is making the water pump not last as long? Also what should be the estimate to replace it? I want to do it right.

be certain to use OEM dealer part. offbrands tend to fail a lot easier and sooner. estimate is below..
