2002 Jeep Laredo cooling fan wont work

when the engine gets warm the cooling fan will not cut on at all. I checked the fan motor and it works just cant figure out whats causing it to not come on before the engine overheats. any ideas

replace the coolant fan relay. they go bad all the time. its a heat sink relay located on the frame. buy the new one so you kknow what it looks like because it looks different from regular relays. im sure this will fix it.
