How do I change the thermostat?

Drain some coolant out of the radiator drain-cock, then remove the two bolts on the thermostat housing, remove and replace tstat and reassemble. Beware the water-pump could be the culprit for overheating, the make it with plastic impeller blades, and as they age, the break apart.
