i got a 99 jeep cherokee laredo its been running fine then the other morning I went out to start it it started fine but then died within 5 seconds so I keep tryin to start it it keep doi the same thing and its still doin it so I called a jeep dealer n they said it sound like somethin to do with alarm system it causes the car to shut down has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it or does anyone know what it is an how to fix it thanks

On some of the jeep models, the computer screw were too long and shorting out the computer and shutting the vehicle down, the two screws are located on the front of the computer under the plugs. Either that or you could have a relay problem, or a neutral safety switch problem.
