What could be wrong when my Jeep will start but then sputters and dies even though it has gas in it.

Test your fuel pressure with an accurate gauge.

Check ASD relay
Is it in need for a tune up coil wires plugs?

Tune up, coil wires are ok just put in new plugs.

It doesn't have a pressure gauge on it.

Of course it doesn't. You supply the gauge to test the fuel pressure.
