Does the vehicle turn over while attempting to crank?
If there is no spark while cranking, you need to first test for the presence of normal battery voltage at the (BAT) battery terminal in the distributor cap. If there is no voltage present then you have to trace it back to the ignition switch using a test light. Go to your local auto store and buy a Chilton's manual for wiring diagrams and this will help a lot. It could be something simple or it could be a few other things. List of possibilities-relay in your power control unit under the hood, faulty ignition switch(on some models), faulty spark plug wires, faulty computer, etc.
