1994 Jeep Laredo Problem with the parking brake and 4WD

My Jeep Laredo is having problems with the parking brake and 4wd. First of all, anytime I park it on an uphill incline (driveway, parking lot etc.) It will slowly roll backward even though I have the parking brake engaged.

Second, I am not sure if the 4wd is working and maybe if it's related to the above problem. I have noticed that when I try to drive in the snow, it has very poor traction and gets stuck in only a few inches. When the accelerator is pushed only the back wheels will spin even though it's 4wd. Any ideas?

With 100,000+ miles you need to remove the drums and inspect the brakes and the cables to see if they even move! Then repair any problems, and adjust the rear brakes then the parking brake, The four wheel drive is a seperate issue, and you may need either hub work, or actuator replacement.
