Someone else removed the fuel pump. I bought a new Bosch as the original was a Bosch. I did not know how to orient the pump to install it. 'Made my best guess, but the gauge doesn't read right now. And, the gasket is leaking some . . . wasting fuel. Please tell me how to orient the pump and how far do I have to rotate the pump. Thank you, Roger

your problem is not the fuel pump it self it is the fuel lever sender housing thier should be a little rubber nub on the botton of the hole assembly. in the tank thier is a spot where it fits in to it is a pain to find once the hole assembly is in the retainer ring is real easy to get on i would also seggest that you replace the retiner o ring (retainer ring holds in fuel pump assembly)
