This car needs a transmission, a motor and rear differential my question is for the sake of money should I invest the money to fix this or get another, I say invest the money in this everyone else says get another with less miles, but another with less miles is very very very expensive I mean 17, ooo thousand to 30, ooo dollars and then there the question of what else could go wrong that would be expensive. I really do need some sound advice.

Hi there,

This is a bit hard to say as it is your money, if it was mine I would not be spending that sort of money on a 10 year old car, but if you like the car and the body and interior is in great shape and you can see you self driving this car for another 10 years, then may be it is a good idea to spend the money on it as you say an up date is going to set you back a considerable amount more, but if you want to keep it for the longer term spend it on this car, apart from basics, brakes and suspension, you will have a near new car anyway.
