Electrical problem
1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently replaced the fuel pump on my 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.0 litre stright 6. After replacing the pump, the jeep would not start. After jiggleing the connector to the new fuel pump, it started. My question is ... could the jeep side electrical connector be bad, and what is the part name for the connector so I can order a new one ?

I think your best bet is to call a dealership, talk to the service department. If the part is out of production, you may have a tough time finding that connector? I looked at several online partsbooks, I came up empty. I looked up fuel pump connector-- electrical connectors-- wiring harness, nothing.

Some connectors, you can take them apart? Maybe you can tighten something?
