How do you change an oil sending unit?

Not sure about 2000 CJ7 (last CJ7 was in '86) See my profile........CJ7 w/ 258 6cyl------ oil sender is located on pass. side, low on engine nearest fire wall. It RESEMBLES a small can, with one wire going into the end (SEE your new one)......Very simple....just unscrew it CCW (lefty loosy)......Install new one, really tight as you can by hand, then maybe 1 more turn w/tool........crank, look for leaks.....tighten a little more if leaks (these are LITTLE PIPE THREADS, don't over-do-it)........reconnect your wire.......Love, Turddog
