Several possible causes. Some not real good.

PCV system not working or not to its full potential (we can check this out, several factors with this)

Low Compression----Lots of "Blowby" past the rings (we may can improve some, without a rebuild)

Timing off

Running bad (vacuum leaks, Carb adjustments)

Are you auto mechanical? (Are you able to perform simple wrench turning on your rig?)

Have a Manual? Which?
