Engine Performance problem
1978 Jeep CJ7 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

Need to check the compression...what should it be?

you're not really looking for a set number.

you want all of the cylinders to be within 10% of each other.

but most of the time i get 110 to 140 to give you an idea.

i've never seen an engine run below about 85
