1979 Jeep CJ5 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

saw something coulpe years a go about jet selection with use of 02 sensor. does it work?

Yes, if you have an O2 sesnor system that can read exhaust gases it would work, but any smog machine would do the same thing with less hassle.

1979 JEEP CJ5.....Carb. O2 sens in exaust.....just past collector.............O2 sensor genorates 0 mv-------1 mv, on its own

I do not remember exparament but seems like old car maybe 78packard...they used bosh sensor . I cant think good.., broke my foot at work

Bosch may be right about the 78 packard sensor, didnt know packards were still being built! How about a single wire GM application for 81 model year carb modes? Camaro for example? They had electronic controls on the carb. Newrer ones wont work because both Injectors, and MAF sensor is not installed on your car? Plus no ECM-PCM? Install sensor and adjust mixture screws, use a tachomtter and adjust screws for highest rpm, do this after timing and idle speed is adjusted, then after mixture is adjusted, re-adjust idle speed.

foot is killing me, broke it in armmy too, trying to do ranger cammo fighting thinks +cyclogic warfair stuff
