Perform service

Hi I have a 2004 jeep and it has been runing fun but a few days ago I was getting on the freeway and the perform service light come on but it did not tell me what to get fix and I have to put oil in the car I have not put any in it since I had it so could that be it are could there be some thing elsa Thank you.

A 2004 and your losing oil between changes?

The Check engine light means there is a problem affecting the emissions of the truck. You need to either have a good shop diagnose it, or get the codes from the computer witha code reader and let us know what they are.
