How to change battery terminals on 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The cables are in the current terminals. Do I just cut the wires and clamp them into my new terminals? Or is there a way to disconnect the wires from the stock terminals?

u need to cut the old ones off
install the new one s and try to seal them if posible
