1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic 98,000 miles. Not sure if you answer questions about radios but when I turn on my car radio it is ok for a few minutes but then the volume goes down and eventually it gets so low that you can't really hear anything after turning the volume all the way up. Could it be the battery of the radio gone bad, wiring problem, or electrical problem? I went to a car radio specialist place and paid $30 for no answer. This isn't a car factory radio but been in for a few years. Thanks.

Does this fit? Some newer radioes will adapt their volume to the decibel level of the car noise. So as you slowdown the car will drop the volume and raise accordingly. This feature on your radio?

If it has built-in Amp-do something with your battery or alternator to provide more juice.
