blue smoke, but jeep running fine

1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 140k miles,auto, 6 cyl, runs fine but blue smoke is coming out of tailpipe. Can't find any leaks, oil, etc. any suggestions? Thanks

Compression test...oil rings gone!

had the same issue. It turned out that that the #3 piston was worn and the rings were gone.
