I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6 4x4 with 123,000 miles on it. I have had what seems like a possessed car. The windows (all 4) go up and down on their own, the door locks (front only) lock and unlock on their own, and the stereo only works half of the time. I have taken out the fuse to the power door locks and windows, and the doors will still occasionally lock and unlock on their own. The windows are fine without the fuse, they just are nonfunctional now  . I have replaced the fuse to no avail. I have taken it to a mechanic and had it hooked up to the diagnostic computer system. Nothing comes up wrong. This has been going on for over a year. Can someone please help me try to exorcise my possessed car?

It may be possible that there are wiring cut, rubbed through, or otherwise damaged in a wiring harness that contains many wires. Perhaps that circuit is getting intermittant power enabling the locks to function at times.
