Car went dead, but lights came on. Jump vehicle and drove a short distance. 4 hours later car would not start again, but lights still came on. Is it a battery problem? Only 22,500 miles on the car

Hi Alan

I'd start by checking your positive battery terminal is clean and tight, a great way to help the clean up is 3 desert spoons of baking powder or washing soda ( both alkiline) in a old cup of boiling water

immerse the green corroded terminal in the brew and swish it around for a minute then reassemble, smear plenty of vasiline over the terminal to slow up the rate or re corrosion.
