2006 Jeep Cherokee Four Wheel Drive Automatic 43000 miles

hello,
i just changed on my own the jeep battery and all my 3 brake lights are still on, even after I turn off the engine.SO I DISCONECTED AGAIN THE BATTERY BECAUSE I AM WORRY that these brake lights DONT EMPTY AGAIN THE BATTERY.
can you tell me how can i solve my problem?

Hi there,

I would first be checking that the brake light switch on top of the brake pedal under the dash is not sticking on, start here.
