I have noticed that just in the last week my average city gas mileage has dropped from 14.5-15 mpg to approx. 13.6-14 mpg. I have been having problems with my EGR valve and my husband thinks that may be the problem. Any ideas?

since its such a low drop i would suspect maybe low tire pressure, dirty air filter, fuel filter, need some injector cleaning. maybe spark plug ans wires are bad. getting near the big tune up mark.
