2005 Jeep Cherokee blinking headlights

Lights blink every few minutes-during the evining/night.originall battery was replaced today 9/20-and during the eve the headlights started to blink again,I dropped the Jeep of at the jeep dealer-today.when the new battery was installed I was told that the alternator and generator was working and everthing was charging-I have not heard from the dealer yet but thought I would seek some info if they can't find anything thanks Kerekes

I do not know your rig much,

On a CJ, your symptoms are exactly the same as a BAD Dimmer switch....Or a bad connection to the dimmer switch!

Only difference in our rigs is, My dimmer is floor mounted.......yours is not!

If you investigate your connection, look for BURNT or LOOSE, Male or female connectors. (dimmer or its connector.

Once, on my CJ, I found that the FEMALES in the "Connector", were pushed further back in the connector, than where they are intented to be.

They were barely making contact!
