I am having trouble starting my jeep and keeping it in idle. I can crank it over and then until finally I may get it to turn on all the way. Once on it dies I gas on it a little bit while in park. It doesnt shut off while driving. I do not think it's the alternator. The battery is good. Could it be the fuel filter or something else?

Not an alternater.

The fuel filter on these are part of the fuel pump module and are not serviced as a maintenance procedure.
But I would check the fuel pressure when the problem happens to see if it is fuel system related.

At what mileage were the plugs last changed?

Have any carbon removal procedures been done to the truck?

Have the fuel injectors been cleaned professionally?
