A couple of days ago out of the clear blue sky my tranny started shifting very rough:
I would take off from a stop and it wouldn't shift until 3500 or 4000 RPM's.....After that first shift it ran ok until I slowed down to 20MPH and then it do it again.

Checked Trans oil level and it was normal but very dirty..I did a transmission service my self and issue went away for a very brief time and returned back.

I am taking vehicle to the shop...Any idea of what I am in for?

Hi there,

hard to say on this with out checking it first hand, i would want to do a scan and check for any unresolved fault codes and also do a flush of the transmission as changing the oil only changes about 1/2 of the oil in the full trans system, that is why a flush is a good idea, see what the trans people say, if in doubt post there report here of comment.
