There was a recall on the steering gear in your vehicle. You will need to contact a dealer to confirm that your vehicle is affected. Here is the recall info I found:

NHTSA Campaign ID number: 03V079000
Potential number of units affected: 286
Model year(s): 2004
Manufactured: 01/27/2003 - 01/29/2003
Owner notification start date: March 12, 2003
Defect: The power steering gear may contain an improperly formed spacer clip, which could dislodge within the steering gear.

Consequence: A dislodged clip may cause increased steering effort, increasing the risk of a crash.

Solution: Dealers will replace the steering gear assemblies.

Let me know what you find.
