2003 jeep cherokee larado replaced battery, altanator and cleaned the battery post. the battery guage on the dash reads at about 11. I checked the alt. with a meter and it reads 11. I took the alt. out and had it bench tested at a parts house and it tested good 3 times. I also had someone tell me the voltage regulator could be bad and on this vehicle it isn't built into the alt. does anyone know what could cause this problem.
