The heating system in my 2002 Jeep (Eight Cylinder) only blows warm air out of the vents on the drivers side, but blows cold air on the passengers side! How do I fix this? Is there something disconnected on the engine side of the dash? Also smells like antifreeze in the car when the heater is blowing! When the defrost is running the entire windshield and windows have condensation on them and takes a long time to clear. Is this because it is blowing hot and cold? Help would be appreciated!! Thanks.

Sounds like the heater core is leaking. DOes the Jeep have seperate climate controls right to left? Either way you have to remove the heater box to do the core so when you are in there look for doors that dont work correctly

It does have seperate climate controls for drivers side and passenger side. (individual temperature degrees) Could problem have an easy fix? If the heater core is leaking can that be fixed or does it have to be replaced?!? Not looking to spend a lot of cash on this since my side of the car is still warm!!!
