2002 Jeep Cherokee rear rotors

trying to replace my rear rotors and i an not able to get the rotor to fall off so i can replace it, is there a lock on the rotor i am missing, and if so how do i get it off, do i need a special tool to do this?

there should be some push nuts securing the rotor to the axle hub studs. just remove them and the rotor will slide off, so long as you have removed the brake caliper and released the parking brake..
