Hi -
Left rear brake light doesn't work on Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Have replaced with new bulbs on both right and left. Left rear running light works, cuts out when brake pedal pressed, but stop filament doesn't come on. left turn signal work fine and central brake light (over rear hatch) works fine. Could it be the harness, a relay or bulb socket? If so, can I get the parts somewhere other than Jeep Chrysler - for the obvious reasons. Thank you.

Have a look at the prongs in the socket, sometimes they bend away from the contact point of the bulb, use a voltmeter on the socket, and check for power with a friend stepping on the pedal.
