I noticed that my car is making this loud whirling/whining sound when driving. I noticed a slight leak when getting into my car at work. I parked it and now i noticed a huge oil leak underneath the car and when i tried to drive it i had difficulty steering. It took alot of effort to steer the car.

Hi there,

You have a power steering leak , this will be at the pump, the supply or return hose or the steering box. If you drive with no oil in system you will damage the pump a the oil is also the lubrication for the pump. So fill the reservoir and wash down the pump& box, run and check for leaks, if in the box or pump, you will need to see your mechanic .
