I have a 02' jeep grand Cherokee 4.7 Lt.
My passenger side actuator went out on me so I had to change it first time doing a job this big I replace the actuator got everything back in but now my cheep is not heating correctly it does not blow enough hot air
I'm not sure if I put the heater core hose's on correctly from the firewall the top line to the bottom of the water pump and the bottom of the fire wall to the top of the water pump
the temp. Gage is normal its not overheating
my top radiator hose is hot but the bottom one were the thermostat goes is cool?
does my jeep have a heater control valve if so were is it could that be it?

Yup the air lock will choke it

Always bleed air from cooling system after replacing coolant. Set heater for maximum heat. Remove radiator cap. Loosen drain plug and remove drain bolt (if equipped) from engine block. Drain coolant reservoir. Fill coolant reservoir to MAX mark with 50/50 water-coolant mixture. Loosen bleed bolt and fill radiator up to base of filler neck. Close bleed bolt when coolant flows out without bubbles. Tighten bleed bolt. With radiator cap removed, start and operate engine to normal operating temperature. Add coolant if necessary and check for leaks
