2002 Jeep Cherokee Keyless Entry

My brother has a 2002 Jeep Cherokee Overland. Recently, his keyless entry stopped working so he changed batteries in both the remotes. This did not solve the problem. Anything he should try before going to the dealer?

no there isn't he will have to go to dealer and have them reprogram the remote to jeep it is a common issue in all cars sometimes the remoter loses its program but a eay fix here in Illinois we charge $20 to reprogram both remotes
