Did not see a post to your question
I hope you have resolved your concern
I am an independent tech and am working on the same concern/vehicle
What I have found out is that this is a hybird fan
In otherwords, it uses P/S fluid and battery power to run the fan as needed. Therefore, diagnosis becomes a lot more difficult unlesss you have a good scan tool.
I'd like to hear if your vehicle was overheating?
My customers concern when she showed up was the fan was always runing and causing the battery to die.
When I got the vehicle the fan was inop.
I turned on the A/C and the fan still did not run.
I let the vehicle idle until engine temp = 250 and still no fan. Therefore I assumed we had a problem.
Problem I having is that I cannot find information on the fluid controls for this vehicle.
If in fact the electrical parts are defective, such as the fan module behind the headlight, then why isn't the fan running at low speed as designed with P/S support?
Any feedback you have would be ideal!
Cheers
