2002 Jeep Cherokee Failed smog in California

My engine light stays on and was told I had an emmision leak. Everything else passed.. Where would I look to find this leak? Thanks

Dunno where the leak is could be oil/coolant/brake/tranny leak etc-but am thinking they're refering the leak somewhere within the evaporative control system-from the charcoal canister to the fuel tank-Fuel vapors which probably requires a smoke test
