Engine Cooling problem
2001 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have been able to get to the radiator and it is ready for removal except, I have a hose towards the bottom of the radiator under the fill cap. it seems to be approx 1/2 hose with a brass fitting with a nut on it. I loosened the nut but the hose does not come out. any suggestions?

sounds like you are describint the automatic tranny fluid cooler lines. you have to use a quick connect fitting release tool to remove it, most auto part stores have it in stock .
